Congratulations to former Angels Marty Poppham and Matt Brady on their success with Union College,  and their trip to the 2008 NAIA College World Series.  Marty won his first game at the series and is now 17-1 WOW!  Great job guys!

The Angels have announced the signing of 6'7" hard throwing right hander Blake Drake.  Drake recently went to Wabash Valley College.

The Angels have announced the re-signing of former Angel Blake Harbert.  Blake finished the season as the Angels starting shortstop and we are glad to have him back on board for another title run.

The Angels have activated left handed pitcher Jacob Wardrip from the disabled list, he will be available to pitch in the Angels next game.

The Angels have made 3 roster moves.  They have released shortstop Shawn Thompson and signed former Angel infielder Alex Kerins.  Alex, recently comleted his senior season at Cleveland State. They have also activated right fielder Antone Towns, recovering from a pulled hamstring.
