GAME PRAYER 2005

Game One-Proverbs 10:4 (He who has a slack hand becomes poor, but the hand of the diligent makes rich)

                                              Hard work is indispensable to an individual's success-or team success 

Game Two-Matthew 12:30 (He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.)

                                              As believers, we may be knocked down, but we will never be knocked out.

Game Three-Nehemiah 4:9 (Nevertheless we made our prayer to our God and because of them we set watch against them day and night.

                                              Commit the matter to God in prayer, and then take action.

Game Four-I Samuel 17:37 (The Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of   this Philistine.

                                                David did not look at the size of the obstacle, but at the power of his God.

Game Five-Matthew 7:12(Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.)

                                            Why turn anywhere for help in time of need except to God? he is ready and able to help you be a godly father.

Game Seven-Colossians 4:6 (Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.)

                                             Successful communication with your family and with others is simply speaking the truth in love.

Game Eight-Proverbs 29:18 (Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint:...)

                                               The Word of God is our chart and compass as Christian fathers.  Without it, we lose our way.

GAME PRAYER 2004

Game One-  John 3:16 (For God so loved the world,  that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Matthew 6:9-13=The Lord's Prayer- (Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.  Thy kingdom come.  Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread.  And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.  And lead us not into temptation,  but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.)

                                The world measures success by the size of your bank account. God measures success by the size of your heart.

                                 Greatness comes from your willingness to suffer for it.

Game 9-Hebrews 11:1(Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.)

                                    You will never have courage if your character is weak.

                                     The more God trusts us with, the more accountable we are for how we use it.

Game 10-Matthew 10:14-15(And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.  15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.) 

                                   Pride leads you away from God.

                                   If it is well with your soul, you have everything that matters. If it is not, nothing else matters

Game 11-Matthew 7:13(Enter ye in at the straight gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be that go in thereat:)

                                     A wise man will hear, and increase learning.

Game 15-Revelation 22:12,13(And behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.) 

                                     Terminology-(Day of Atonement) The annual appointed day of fasting and repentence of the sins of the Hebrews nation.  As a symbol that the people were cleansed of their sins, a goat, called the scapegoat was led out and set free in the wilderness.

Game 16-Romans 5:3-5(And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also; knowing that tribulation worketh patience: 4. And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5. And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.) 

                                     Terminology-Hypocrite-One who assumes the apperance of piety and virtue while destitute of true religion.

Game 17-Matthew 6:24(No man can serve two masters:for either he will hate the one,and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mam-mon(riches)

                                     The quality of a man's life is in direct proportion to the commitment to patience, regardless of his chosen field of endeavor.

Game 18-Matthew10:28(And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.)

                                      The difference between success and failure is how you handle the temptation to become bitter.
